Synopsis
Introductory psychology courses can raise significant questions about the nature of being human. Christianity, with its emphasis on humans made in the image of God, has a clear perspective. Psychology offers answers too, but they are often subtly implied. This introductory guide, drawn from more than fifty years of classroom experience, provides students with a coherent framework for considering psychology from a Christian perspective. The authors explore biblical themes of human nature in relation to all major areas of psychology, showing how a Christian understanding of humans can inform the study of psychology. Brief, accessible chapters correspond to standard introductory psychology textbooks, making this an excellent supplemental text. End-of-chapter questions are included. A test bank for professors is available through Baker Academic's Textbook eSources., Drawn from more than fifty years of classroom experience, this introductory guide provides a coherent framework for considering psychology from a Christian perspective.

- r***k (92)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Ultimi 6 mesiAcquisto verificatoAAA+++ Book arrived on time & undamaged. Could have been protected by a box but came came shipped in bubble shipping slip. Lucky I guess. As advertised used but in like new condition. Sells else where for around $100.00 locally. Price was worth the chance. Collection book for my wife & made her happy. Would buy again but hope for better packing for a hard cover book. Quick shipping
- m***m (14)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Ultimi 6 mesiAcquisto verificatoShipped promptly and packed up securely. All books are in great condition. The box part of the box set looks like it may have come apart and was taped up on one of the upper corners. Not a big deal to me and the box still fits all the books securely, but the taping was not mentioned in the description. Would have been disappointing if I was looking for a box set that looked like it was in mint or near mint condition.
