Welcome to the second book in my HIDDEN WOMEN series, an ongoing exploration that relies on archaeological findings and ignores the written record unless independently verified. The reasoning is that existing documentation usually comes prejudiced from the victor, is often written centuries after the fact and based on second-hand information, or worse.The book seeks to shed new light on the many different aspects of Europe that have been influenced by Burgundy, and how much it still remains a vital part of the European makeup. By looking topic by topic at places known to have been Burgundian, Europe's darkened corners become visible in valuable new ways. Burgundy, one of Europe's major cultural components, is examined thread by thread based on its visual history.
