Synopsis
(Previously published as Seduced by Destiny by Kira Morgan) SCOTTISH LASSES Meet the lasses in the world of Mary Queen of Scots...Like the Scottish thistle, they're lovely yet tough, beautiful yet prickly, and only the strongest and wisest heroes are able to elude their thorns to discover the tender blossom within. MacADAM'S LASS By Glynnis Campbell - writing as Kira Morgan (formerly Seduced by Destiny) A woman with a legacy...a man with a secret. She seeks to avenge her brave mother's murder. He seeks to reconcile himself to his father's death. Josselin Ancrum, a sword-wielding Scottish war-orphan-turned-spy for Queen Mary, has her eye on Drew MacAdam. She suspects the golfing "Highlander" isn't quite who he claims to be. While she serves up secret messages in the guise of a tavern wench, he seems to be courting the enemy English when he isn't beating the Scots at their own game. Drawn together by fate, Drew and Jossy are swept up in their growing desires and the designs of their warring queens, until they uncover the terrible secret that binds their star-crossed souls. ..".a delightful romance set in 16th-century Scotland....Readers weary of Scottish romance cliches will be thrilled to see these cheeky commoners trading blows and puns far away from drafty castles." --Publishers Weekly, Starred Review ..".a fast paced story full of witty banter, sparks of passion and intrigue...a story of destiny and love that will warm your hearts, with laugh out loud moments and a love that will last forever." --My Book Addiction and More ..".unique take on star-crossed lovers, with an interesting twist on the characters." --Romance Reviews Today ..".a story with passion and adventure...a unique set of colorful characters." --Romantic Times BOOKClub ..".cocky sarcasm and hilarious wit into every tormented turn, a more winning combination can't be found...so rare and singularly satisfying, that every word really deserves to be savored." --Romance Junkies ..".filled with witty banter and wily swordplay...beautiful and entertaining...a sidesplitting swashbuckling good time." --Joyfully Reviewed "Be prepared for scalding heat between the characters, along with their rocky but enticing relationship. This is definitely a page-turner with surprises at every turn." --FreshFiction.com "Interesting and romantic....contained a lot of humor and fun seduction. This is a great book for a fun, lighthearted read for anyone who enjoys historical romances." --nightowlreviews.com "I loved the characters and I loved the golf part of the story--an insight into how it was way back then....Brilliant personalities and great golf scenes and some good history as well. - a***2 (13)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Ultimi 6 mesiAcquisto verificatoItem was shipped quickly and packaged well. Item was exactly as described, brand new and it was even sealed. The seller also messaged me as soon as the purchase went through so communication was great. This was the last book in the series that I needed and to be able to find it in such great condition and at a great cost was unexpected. Highly recommend this seller and will definitely buy from again in the future.MARTIN THE WARRIOR (REDWALL) By Brian Jacques - Hardcover **BRAND NEW** (N° 187149385105)
- t***s (43)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Mese scorsoAcquisto verificatoThe Item itself I rate five stars. The seller, however, I stop at four stars. The seller met two out of three categories I look for when judging my purchasing experience: how well it was packaged, how quickly it was shipped, and how properly it was described; this seller provided prompt shipping and an accurate description, but failed when it came to packaging. The item arrived in a plastic bag without any reinforcement or protection whatsoever and suffered dinged corners on multiple fronts.
