In First Star I See Tonight, Susan Elizabeth Phillips writes about the kind of strong, self-assured women I love! She never fails to leave a smile on my face., Fall into the addictive voice of Susan Elizabeth Phillips--compulsively readable and deeply satisfying!, First Star I See Tonight is a perfect example of why Susan Elizabeth Phillips is so popular. The characterization is spot on; Piper is original and gutsy and real, and Cooper Graham is macho seasoned with a sense of humor. Characters from previous Chicago Stars books make their appearance without overshadowing the main characters in this installment. Synopsis
#1 New York Times bestseller Susan Elizabeth Phillips returns to her beloved Chicago Stars series with a romance between a Chicago Stars quarterback and one of the world's greatest opera singers--and a major diva. "Re-entering the world of the Chicago Stars is like a beloved friend come to call." -- #1 New York Times bestselling author Robyn CarrThaddeus Walker Bowman Owens, the backup quarterback for the Chicago Stars, is a team player, talented sideline coach, occasional male underwear model, and a man with a low tolerance for Divas. Olivia Shore, international opera superstar, is a driven diva with a passion for perfection, a craving for justice, too many secrets--and a monumental grudge against the egotistical, lowbrow jock she's been stuck with. It's Mozart meets Monday Night Football as the temperamental soprano and stubborn jock embark on a nationwide tour promoting a luxury watch brand. Along the way, the combatants will engage in soul-searching and trash talk, backstage drama and, for sure, a quarterback pass. But they'll also face trouble as threatening letters, haunting photographs, and a series of dangerous encounters complicate their lives. Is it the work of an overzealous fan or something more sinister? This is the emotional journey of a brilliant woman whose career is everything and a talented man who'll never be happy with second place. Tender and funny, passionate and insightful, this irresistible romantic adventure proves that anything can happen...when two superstars collide., #1 New York Times bestseller Susan Elizabeth Phillips returns to her beloved Chicago Stars series with a romance between a Chicago Stars quarterback and one of the world's greatest opera singers--and a major diva. - i***9 (26604)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Mese scorsoAcquisto verificatoThis book arrived today and could have been packaged a bit better. The vinyl shipping envelope did not protect this book from marring, damaged book corners and cover sleeve damage. The mailer was also torn. Perhaps wrapping the book in a cardboard cover will have prevented the damaged to the product inside. Would not have added anymore shipping cost of USPS Bound Printed Matter. Needs improvement in shipping. I got a good decent copy as opposed to New. The price was fair for what I receive.

Seller, after offering a partial refund which I wasn’t interested in (I wanted a new book not a damaged one), promptly refunded the entire amount and didn’t trouble me to return the damaged book. All satisfactory solution to an unavoidable problem.
