Synopsis
This volume includes twelve studies by international specialists on Aristotle and his commentators. Among the topics treated are Aristotle's political philosophy and metaphysics, the ancient and Byzantine commentators' scholia on Aristotle's logic, philosophy of language and psychology as well as studies of broader scope on developmentalism in ancient philosophy and the importance of studying Late Antiquity., This new series was created to continue and extend the 'Commentaria in Aristotelem Graeca', the edition of commentaries on Aristotle from Late Antiquity established from 1882-1907 at the Royal PrussianAcademy in Berlin. The 'Commentaria in Aristotelem Graeca et Byzantina' extend our view of the Byzantine tradition and provide critical first editions of texts of Byzantine commentaries on Aristotle together with further source texts on the reception of Aristotle in Byzantium. The series also includes monographs and collected volumes on the provision and understanding of these texts. In this way, the foundations can be laid for decisive advances in the study and evaluation of Byzantine philosophy and knowledge about the relevant authors, copyists and recipients. The editions concentrate on commentaries on writings on natural philosophy, metaphysics, biology, psychology and on logic. Key features: The editors are internationally renowned authorities on Aristotle The series continues the de Gruyter foci on Aristotle (Bekker Edition, CAG) and critical editions to include the Byzantine era The series provides first editions of new texts closing gaps in the history of medieval philosophy and the humanities, The volumes of the series Commentaria in Aristotelem Graeca et Byzantina. Sources and Studies, will present and interpret Greek textual sources on the transmission and reception of Aristotle from late antiquity to the Byzantine middle ages and the Renaissance era applying philological, historical, and exegetical methods.

- a***2 (13)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Ultimi 6 mesiAcquisto verificatoItem was shipped quickly and packaged well. Item was exactly as described, brand new and it was even sealed. The seller also messaged me as soon as the purchase went through so communication was great. This was the last book in the series that I needed and to be able to find it in such great condition and at a great cost was unexpected. Highly recommend this seller and will definitely buy from again in the future.MARTIN THE WARRIOR (REDWALL) By Brian Jacques - Hardcover **BRAND NEW** (N° 187149385105)
- t***s (44)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Mese scorsoAcquisto verificatoThe Item itself I rate five stars. The seller, however, I stop at four stars. The seller met two out of three categories I look for when judging my purchasing experience: how well it was packaged, how quickly it was shipped, and how properly it was described; this seller provided prompt shipping and an accurate description, but failed when it came to packaging. The item arrived in a plastic bag without any reinforcement or protection whatsoever and suffered dinged corners on multiple fronts.
