Synopsis
The painter and printmaker Craigie Aitchison (19262009) is best known for his spare compositions and intense, luminous palette. His subject matter is equally distinctive-single flowers, Bedlington terriers, sheep, and crucifixions-rendered, as in the Italian religious icons that he so admired, in simple but powerful forms. These hallmarks are readily present in Aitchison's prints, most of which are the legacy of his longstanding relationship with the master printers at Advanced Graphics, London. All the prints are brought together for the first time in this handsome catalogue raisonn, which also includes an introduction by Andrew Lambirth exploring the importance of printmaking in Aitchison's career., The painter and printmaker Craigie Aitchison (1926-2009) is best known for his spare compositions and intense, luminous palette. My father loves vinyls and finding them are harder to come by. So when I found these gems, I had to get them. Seller was awesome! Shipping was great ordered day before thanksgiving and I got them Monday morning! Packaging was perfect 👌 and the vinyls look almost new! Was so worried but as described Over all 10/10 in value. Plus, the seller gifted bonus items, like a recipe book (I’ve ironically been looking for recipes to try out so it was lowkey a win/win for me).

So glad you like the records. I tend to grade conservatively, so no one will complain that I overestimated the grades. Unless the item is rare or very popular, I prefer to mainly sell records that are high grade. I put the cookbook in to stiffen the package and hopefully ensure the records are not damaged, and so far, knock on wood, it has succeeded as no record I have shipped in my 29 years on eBay has ever arrived damaged. I've got more records and more cookbooks, if anyone wants.
