Covers are shiny metallic blue and very firm even though it’s a paperback. Papers of the Manual is classic paper and papers of the Desk Reference are between classic paper and glossy paper. Pens and highlighters don’t bleed thorugh on both. And they’re both COLORED! The only problem is that the corner of the manual is slightly damaged, packaging could be better. Overall, a very positive experience!
