Synopsis
New Brunswick, founded in 1681, developed as a major shipping and stagecoach center by the mid-1750s. The cargo carried to and from New Brunswick via steamships and the Camden and Amboy Railroad shaped the development of the city and the state far more than many realize. Timothy Regan s new photographic history of New Brunswick chronicles the city s development from the late nineteenth through the early twentieth century, and uncovers its role in the development of New Jersey. Vintage images of long-forgotten hotels, taverns, and houses are featured in Mr. Regan s work, many of which were built in response to the growth of the city s shipping industry. New Brunswick is significant historically in the field of education as well; the evolution of Rutgers College chartered as Queens College in 1766 by King George III of England is covered in this volume. Also included are images of notable early residents, including poet and renown journalist Joyce Kilmer.", Founded in 1681, New Brunswick developed as a major shipping and stagecoach center by the mid-1750s. Really poor experience. Seller never shipped. I was the only bidderfor the item. Feel that he/she never sent because the price he /she set was too low at start point. I tried to contact seller when item was never shipped and never recieved a repsponse. I had to call Ebay Corperate office. They refunded purchase. Zero communication from seller. Really surprised his reviews have been steller except for lack of communcation at times.

You never contacted me about the package. You asked for a refund and got it. I had a few packages I dropped off alt the counter disappear. Since you made one query about the item and got a refund, you response is a little over played. It was dropped off at the PO on then counter and disappeared from there. Maybe my bad for leaving it there but my PO is a large one with a lot of people waiting. Anyhow you were refunded. Sorry for the Inconvenience.
