Inevitably, once I bought this as a replacement, then the original turned-up: it had wormed its way beneath the sofa I sat on when visiting a friend! Story over: this is a a quite thick woolly hat which has yet to be removed from the cardboard, so currently qualifies as being, 'as delivered'. Truism applies: a decent, thick woolly hat ...is precisely that!

So it does not seem possible to get the colours you prefer even if you specifically ask so it is pot luck as the description says. At least I got one of the colours I requested. Otherwise all good.
