It is non slip, has clear ruler markings and is a good thickness for safely using a rotary cutter. I'm very happy with it and if I need more quilting templates I will buy more in the future. Packaging was also great - very sturdy. I have bought from them before and will continue to buy from them as they are very reliable, they have competitive prices and shipping on most items is free, which is great as I live in Australia and it can get quite expensive.
