The action wasn’t as smooth as some of the higher end pens, but it’s close. I’d say good value at a quarter or half the price of those pens. I like the Pilot precise V7 refill, but I think I need a shorter spring for it to work. I believe the spring catches much closer to the tip, causing the spring to fully compress before the tip fully expands. Overall I am happy with my purchase.

Naturally, the pen is exactly as pictured, shipped to me in record time, and he's the king of VIP packaging. You couldn't get a better value anywhere else for something as exquisite as his work.
