Mine came with some dirt but i had no problem wiping it off with a wet rag. The right side tail light went in perfectly but the left one went in with a struggle. Not sure what was causing the left taillight to not fully go in, but once I got all the screws on it went into place without a problem. The installation is really easy. I would recommend these lights to other teg owners. Make sure you buy new seal gaskets before installing

Only reason I gave four stars on the item itself is because my left taillight lens had some noticeable scratches but I think I can fill and polish those myself. Overall brilliant service and product! (I must clarify I never requested a replacement for the scratched lens as it was semi minor)
