Product Information
The FS508 is a powerful, non-blocking network switch, with all 8 ports capable of 10 or 100 Mbps operation. It is ideal for segmenting large networks into smaller, connected subnets for improved performance, enabling the most demanding multimedia and imaging applications. Since each port of the FS508 is auto-speed-sensing, individual subnets or directly attached servers/users can easily be upgraded from 10 to 100 Mbps.Each port can automatically negotiate the network speed and duplex mode with the remote end, taking the burden of configuration off the user. At the higher speed running in full duplex mode, each port supports up to 200 Mbps of information throughput. The FS508 automatically switches the forwarding mode from cut-through (minimizes network delay) to fragment-free cut-through, to store-and-forward (minimizes bad packets) as network gets increasingly busy. In addition, the switch provides “backpressure” to reduce congestion in busy networks. The switch is protocol independent and is compatible with all popular networks such as the Internet or TCP/IP, NetWare, LANTASTIC, or Windows. It provides for 4000 MAC addresses, allowing the switch to support networks of many users.

Enough for porcelain. Item is exactly as described, good pictures. Price was ok. I didn't understand to count taxes on top, so I paid appr.50$ extra, but it wasn't sellers fault.

After saying it was urgent they sent it priority. This person has wonderful communication and prompt.plugged it in and the ac fired right up, no signs of use. Danm good value, was packed very well and was the piece in the picture.
