Product Information
Banned in Britain on release, Don Siegel's tough prison thriller is shot in Folsom prison, using genuine inmates and guards alongside the cast to give it a cinema verite feel. As prison riots sweep across America, Cell Block 11 is where the hard-core felons are kept in isolation and treated like animals. When the inevitable violence breaks out, it's led by the psychopathic Dunn and the equally unhinged Carnie (Leo Gordon, who spent time in Folsom as a convict). Holding guards hostage, including the brutal Snader, they demand decent living conditions, better food, less brutal guards and educational opportunities. The film was produced by Walter Wenger, who was sentenced to four months for shooting a man he suspected of having an affair with his wife, and emerged horrified by the conditions inside. The film was such a hit in America, he and Siegel went on to work on the now classic Invasion of the Body Snatchers .

Went and looked and it was left out on the street. I was lucky it wasn't stolen. There was a package for someone else as well which I have left in the foyer as I do not know where the property is. EVRI are absolutely useless and Royal Mail is much better option. At least I have and not your fault, thank you!LET'S KILL UNCLE NEW BLU-RAY DISC (N° 333711886232)
