So my mistake it needs to be a larger aperture to fit on to the fitments of the hoover. However it is very well made and does have the metal coil internally in the plastic. So for that reason I give five stars.

However when I contacted seller he straight away asked what size was required. Found on that was the right size and agreed to replace. Good understanding and really helpful. However that doesn’t hide the fact that the seller sends hoses designed for a Shark cleaner ( per delivery note) and not for Hoover.Needs to use correct manufacturers parts.Also needs to stop advertising parts for Hoover if they are not genuine parts as this causes dissatisfaction when they don’t fit. Sent back by return to sender as not prepared to pay postage charges for items wrongly sold and advertised.
