It seems that tailbone issues are very long lasting. I would consider this cushion to be a help, that's all, not a cure. You'll still be in pain after sitting, but this cushion may buy you a little more time before the pain arrives. If I were to buy another such cushion, I would do a little more research and try to find one that is made in America.
