Experience the right lighting with nine aperture shutter blades that keep your images bright. Create special effects with the addition of 86mm or 95mm filters that are compatible with the Sigma DG 50-500mm f4.5-6.3 HSM APO OS RF DG lenses for Canon cameras. The nine-shutter blade aperture produces photographs that are well rounded and have a smooth center focus. There is a lot to be said about the design of this Sigma lens. Constructed of rubber focus and zoom rings, the matte black finish offers a sleek look and feel. When extended to is full zoom size of 500mm, the Sigma DG 50-500mm f4.5-6.3 HSM APO OS RF DG lens measures 3.44-inches, or 87.3mm. With a weight of 69.5 ounces, this is a larger size lens that can handle all of your professional photography needs. Lock in your desired zoom with the built-in zoom lock switch and experience image stabilization for your shots. This switch is within easy reach even when the lens is attached to the camera, for convenient setting capabilities. The minimum focus distance and maximum reproduction ration is imprinted on the barrel of the lens. When it comes to focusing, this lens lacks nothing. Featuring Sigma’s Signature (HSM (Hypersonic Motor), this AF (auto-focusing) system performs fast without unwanted noise.
