This stereo is in very good physical and working condition. As seen in pictures, there are some minor blemishes on edges but over all, the system is in really nice shape. As seen in video, the unit has been tested and is in operational condition. Please see pictures for exact condition. As seen in picture, on backside of one of the speakers, the stickers started to peel off. I tried to salvage it by putting some tape over so it did not completely fall off. Product Information

Different models in JVC's FS series demonstrate advances in speaker technology. The FS-SD990 Executive Desktop Stereos introduces the unique, oblique cone, which inherits last year's cylinder-shaped speaker technology and adds new innovations for still better sound. The oblique cone features an asymmetrically mounted voice coil, which decreases distortion due to interference. In addition, the reduction of standing-wave generation in the cone provides a smooth response for a clearer sound. For true elegance, the FS-SD990 has elliptical-cylinder shaped cherry wood enclosures and uses Hyper Aramid Fiber (the same type of fiber used in making bulletproof vests) for rigid and lightweight construction with optimum internal loss.
