This spin-off to the now classic sitcom WHAT'S HAPPENING! features more misadventures from Raj, Rerun, Dwayne, Dee, and Shirley. After three seasons of the first series, the show was cancelled, leaving fans missing the gang's hilarious antics. But reruns became so popular that the show was reborn as WHAT'S HAPPENING NOW! This show jumps seven years from where WHAT'S HAPPENING! left off, and the years have been kind to the group. Raj (Ernest Thomas) is now married, and father to a feisty foster child, Carolyn. When he's not busy trying to be a writer, he runs Rob's Diner with the help of Shirley (Shirley Hemphill).
