Unfortunately it was shipped from the US to Canada and due to the current issues with tariffs the piece ended up costing an additional $110 COD. In the past art was imported tax free but I guess everything has changed. I will be more careful in the future to check where things are being shipped from but there is nothing that the seller could do differently.
