Record I ordered was not removed from its cover for packing, a standard practice to eliminate ringwear concerns. The media rate we charge is the cost of your album, box, and bubble total weight. The two extra albums are not added into the media mail weight you are charged. Also, we do not remove the record from the cover unless we are asked to do so. We prefer not to do this with our packing methods. Also, doing this we feel risks the record breaking. Hope this helps!
