Chain sprocket, worm gear lever and oil pump are all not compatible. Sprocket gear hub is too large. Worm gear lever is too short. Oil pump gear only spins one way, will not pump oil. Took my saw to a certified Stihl dealer mechanic and was informed all these parts are not compatible with a MS290 saw.
