Had to blank 1 of the fuel outlets as the original items on all the 900/1000s of this period only had 1 fuel outlet so I'm assuming this tap was not originally designed to fit the Z900s & 1000s & there's not a lot of room for a T piece. That said, it has the correct tank to tap fitting. I can only conclude that the manufacturer has designed it incorrectly.
