While many two-dimensional racing games revolve around cars, the 1985 game "Excitebike" for the Nintendo Entertainment System puts the player on the seat of a motocross bike, and takes the racing off-road. Like real motocross tracks, the game's tracks feature jumps and obstacles. There are three different modes of gameplay available, which allows players to customize their experience.
