The speaker was packaged very carefully in molded Styrofoam molded blocks protecting it through the shipping process. Once it arrived, I only to fully charge it before updating it's firmware. Downloaded the recommended Sony Android applications. Once I completed these steps I immediately started playing some of my favorite music. OMG!!!
