I can only assume FedEx did this as an attempt to test the true meaning of the word "fragile" the seller printed on all sides of the package. I would buy from this seller again.

I was wary about this purchase from Japan, as the cassette recorder was expensive, and it is the first time I’ve bought an expensive item from abroad. But the purchase went well, and the postage cost must be subsidised! £16.17 from Japan! I can recommend this seller. Thanks for your help.

I will be buying from this store again.
