It's a German/Deutsche market Windows Mobile 6.1 ROM version, you can't change the main language. I experienced this with another black Xperia X1, bought this silver one from England assuming it would be a UK phone with the English ROM. The phone wasn't wiped and still had the previous owners data on it, pics, contacts, messages....everything. Still keeping the phone, thanks!

Contacted the vendor, asked them to cancel the order and I ordered another charger to be sent to the correct address. They cancelled the errant order and raised a refund. I will purchase from them again.
