They were a little darker than pictured but I am 100% ok with that as I wanted darker. Slight smell of varnish or stain on the grips but not a deal breaker. It looks beautiful.The first shipment got damaged and it took very long for the item to arrive. The seller was kind enough to refund $15. Great communication good doing business with this seller. But sadly, the grip does not meet my expectation when it comes to shooting
