This lamp does require batteries which are separate but once inserted, the lamp can be turned on using the small key it came with. No issues whatsoever.

What an Audacity like even when I confronted her with her fraud she kept playing the innocent role instead of refunding me. Until I complain to eBay and they refunded me.

The packaging of the item was done so well and thoughtfully so the magazines arrived in prefect condition. The seller even included a little freebie card! The magazines were as-described and in perfect condition. I would work with this seller again!
