The jack fit into the optical slot and the speaker 3.5 plug fit into the female slot. However, I could not get the sound to work on the TV. I was guessing it was not going to work because of all the "did not work reviews". For only a few bucks I took a chance. As for the seller, "Gravity Standard"; they delivered the product as I expected, in timely manner and it was well packed. Free shipping was a plus.

Theft investigation was created with Postal service and investigation determined I was not at fault and that the package never made it to my mailbox!!! Seller insisted that because the delivery service indicated that it was delivered that it was actually delivered and IT WAS NOT DELIVERED!!! I tool the time to wrote to USPS, EBAY & the seller to implement an investigation. SELLER WAS RUDE.

The item arrived only a day later than I anticipated but it was part of a Mother's Day gift, so I had to scramble and order a quickie from Amazon. This seller is OK and they will communicate when you have a question. It would have been better if I could have tracked the shipment.
