With the 4th Generation Apple TV HD digital media streamer you can be entertained with all your favorite music, games, TV shows, and movies. This small black set top box connects your high-definition television to the Internet, allowing you to stream content from iTunes, as well as other providers like Netflix, ESPN, and Hulu. For added convenience, Apple TV comes with 32 GB of storage built-in so that you can download music, movies, and TV shows right away. To get started with your Apple TV, all you need is to plug the device into a power socket and run an HDMI cable to your HD television. In order to connect your Apple TV to the Internet and your home network, you can either opt to use a 10/100Base-T Ethernet cable or 802.11ac Wi‑Fi with MIMO. Taking up less than 4 square inches, you’ll have no problem finding room by the TV for it. For owners of a Mac, you also have the opportunity to stream content from the Mac over to the Apple TV using its AirPlay functionality. The Apple TV is simply controlled with the Siri Remote, which features a touchpad that lets you navigate with the swipe of a finger, not to mention the microphone which picks up voice commands for the Siri personal assistant functionality. The remote also serves as your controller when playing games on the Apple app store. With built-in Bluetooth connectivity, you also have the opportunity if you so choose to link up a Bluetooth keyboard for easier searching. Apple TV is also designed to assist those with disabilities and impairments through accessibility features like shortcuts, closed captions, and audio descriptions.
