Reviews
"Toothy, gritty, and relentless. Alexey Pehov sneaks up on you and fascinates with the wry voice of a young Moorcock." -E. E. Knight"Pehov's mastery pulls the reader into the story, creating vibrant interpersonal encounters in a believable world." - Booklist on Shadow Chaser "Bestselling Russian author Pehov translates easily in his English fantasy debut. Protagonist Shadow Harold proves modest and witty enough a narrator to carry the series." - Publishers Weekly on Shadow Prowler, "The first book in a new trilogy from the 'Russian George R. R. Martin' brings a number of fresh concepts to the high-fantasy genre...Readers who haven't encountered the Siala trilogy may find a steep learning curve, but if you liked exploring the lands of Skyrim or Westeros, you'll love this book." -- Booklist

Synopsis
The Nabatorians have mounted an invasion of the Empire. Luk, a soldier, and Ga-Nor, a Northern barbarian, are thrown together attempting to escape the Nabatorian hordes . Tia is a powerful dark sorceress and one of The Damned--a group trying to take over the world and using the Nabatorian invasion as a diversion. Gray and Layan are a married couple, master thieves who are hiding out and trying to escape their former gang. They also unwittingly hold the key to a powerful magical weapon that could bring The Damned back to power. Hounded by the killers on their trail, Gray and Layan are aided by Luk and Ga-Nor--and Harold, the hero of The Chronicles of Siala. Realizing what's at stake they decide that, against all odds, they must stop The Damned. Chasers of the Wind by Alexey Pehov is a powerful new fantasy adventure by an author to watch.

- 6***6 (74)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Mese scorsoAcquisto verificatoThis delivery was earliest date! Condition, value, quality - all as described. (My mistake was not requiring the publishing date to be 1958. This was 1977.) This IS a Viking Portable Library copy of Dante's Divine Comedy in English, translated by Laurence Binyon, but it is with a cover DIFFERENT from what was shown. The tracking number was listed as from "UPS", but should have been listed as from "USPS." Contact with this seller alleviated tracking issues. I recommend this seller! Thank you!
- p***a (187)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Mese scorsoAcquisto verificatoI purchased two books from the same seller; both were accurately advertised in product write ups. Seller responded promptly and securely packaged both books for swift arrival. I am very happy with my purchase and highly recommend this seller.
- h***5 (582)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Mese scorsoAcquisto verificatoArrived 13 days after purchase. Digipak 3 CD came in brown paper packaging coated on the inside. Not much protection for cardboard digipack, somehow it arrived in near perfect condition. Could have used some bubble wrap /sturdy cardboard. Tracking gave no information. Messaged them & they assured me it was on it's way. Location reads Florida. They ship from all over / my package read Jamaica, NY. Got a 3 CD Deluxe Edition in GREAT CONDITION at BARGAIN PRICE ! Nervous ride/Happy ending 😀👍
