I would never have expected a book about 'nature or nurture' to be even mildly interesting, let alone a real page-turner. But I had reckoned without Matt Ridley's gift for surprising the reader. What a superb writer he is, and he seems to get better and better., Bracingly intelligent, lucid, balanced--witty, too....A scrupulous and charming look at our modern understanding of genes and experience.

I am always perplexed when sellers choose to ship via an "off-brand" shipper, e.g., OSM Worldwide. This tends to delay the time it takes to get to me vs more "traditioaal" shipped, e.g., USPS, UPS, or FED-EX. This is a pretty good seller. The price was good, the shipping pretty prompt (though deliver took a bit longer than I expected), and the communication was pretty good as well.
