With a cardioid pattern designed to capture sound sources right in front of the mic, the PCC-170 filters out unwanted noise and sounds from the background, making it a smart choice for many different audio conditions. The 22 decibel-A effective output level produces an ultra-sensitive result, so that your audience can catch the loudest of sounds and the quietest of noises. Voices are reproduced with a clear and natural sound thanks to its highly directional pick-up pattern. Those knowledgeable about audio sound quality will appreciate the 50 hertz to 20 kilohertz frequency response that allows the microphone to precisely capture ultra-low and brilliant treble tones with astonishing clarity. Due to the microphone’s placement on a surface or boundary, both direct and reflected sounds arrive at the diaphragm in phase. Phase cancelations are canceled thanks to the increased sensitivity brought about by the coherent addition of direct and reflected waves. The convenient presence of a bass tilt switch further eliminates low frequency hum and noise, ensuring a crystal-clear sound quality.
