The heater works very well but my niggle is with the thermostat that controls the "step down" feature (which needs to be set on installation). There is no guidance as to which way the control operates (i.e. which way is hotter or colder). You can't adjust it while the heater is running, so I ended up setting it in the middle of the range in the hope that this is a reasonable setting.
