The original part has longer wires that were not needed and ended up being bent in order to fit. The replacement have shorter wires, which at first was concerning, but it ended up being exactly the length that was needed without extra length that needed bent in order to fit. Perfect fit, which makes sense, since the newer part has had time for the design to be refined. Great replacement! Works great!
