Synopsis
Zsuzsa Gille combines social history, cultural analysis, and environmental sociology to advance a long overdue social theory of waste in this study of waste management, Hungarian state socialism, and post-Cold War capitalism. From 1948 to the end of the Soviet period, Hungary developed a cult of waste that valued reuse and recycling. With privatization the old environmentally beneficial, though not flawless, waste regime was eliminated, and dumping and waste incineration were again promoted. Gille's analysis focuses on the struggle between a Budapest-based chemical company and the small rural village that became its toxic dump site., Zsuzsa Gille combines social history, cultural analysis, and environmental sociology to advance a long overdue social theory of waste in this study of waste management, Hungarian state socialism, and post?Cold War capitalism. - 9***g (560)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Ultimi 6 mesiAcquisto verificatoShipped quickly, over all packaging was done well, was as described except it didn't have the plug adapter. Contacted seller and was told I received everything in the photo, this was true... But I didn't know it needed a adapter so how would I know it wasn't included. Could have put that info in description! So Value was a bit lacking! (seller was also a bit harsh in his replies)1Mii B03 Bluetooth Transmitter Receiver In Black For TV Home Stereo Headphone* (N° 296909307150)
- s***0 (308)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Ultimi 6 mesiAcquisto verificatoNot quite sure how to put this. SELLER IS HONEST! But this poor old Bible decided to come apart at the seams just at the moment of packing it up! Seller immediately messaged, refunded and apologized almost in the same breath - but I really don't need the apology as the message/refund were enough for me. I understand 60-year old books do weird things sometimes and description even said it was on the rough side and price reflected that. So even though this oopsie happened I'd use seller again!
- m***m (2)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Mese scorsoAcquisto verificatoThe LEGO was in pretty much the exact condition as shown and even arrived early, wrapped in bubble wrap! All the pieces are of good quality, and everything looks great. My only concern is that 2/3 minifigures did not come with their jetpacks, but the seller said that it was an accident. Other than that, it was a great purchase, and I would recommend this seller to others 👍.
