The Logitech TV Cam is a high-definition, wide-angle web cam that gives buyers the ability to use Skype video chat on a HDTV. Weighing approximately 1.7 lbs and measuring 9.6 inches wide by 2.1 inches high by 2.8 inches deep, this Logitech HD web cam is equipped with Carl Zeiss optics, and it can support a high-definition resolution of 720p. When the optics in this device are combined with the Logitech Fluid Crystal technology, it delivers sharp, vibrant, distortion-free images. The Logitech TV Cam provides a clear, full room view with its built-in, wide-angle lens that ensures the whole family is in the call. This camera is also ready to use with any HDTV with an HDMI port. The buyer only needs to mount this wide-angle web cam on top of the TV, plug it in to the HDMI port, and connect it to the wireless home network, or wired system via an Ethernet link. It is then ready to go, provided the buyer already has an active Skype account. This Logitech HD web cam works like a regular phone. It rings even when the TV is off, and if no one is home, there is a built-in voicemail response. This device also has a dedicated power supply. The Logitech HD web cam also works in low light conditions and features a zoom option. In addition, it delivers quality audio regardless of the room size with its four built-in, noise canceling microphones.
