No way to know for sure if that is true or not. They came unboxed. Installation was easy enough. I did not take it to the shop as some sites suggested to make sure they are all working correctly. The vehicle starts and runs fine. shipping from this vendor was fairly quick. The parts have the OEM tags and numbers on them.

I purchased a used dented exhaust, but the box came with some damage and seeing how the one side was packed vs. the other, it felt lazy. Also not sure about the excessive/unnecessary use of packing tape on the part, a minor inconvenience but worth mentioning. That being said, they shipped it fast and they accepted my offer quickly, which was a price we were both happy with.
