...this is by far one of the most timely and comprehensive books on Texas politics that I have seen. It is also the first to truly utilize the Internet as an integral part of the learning experience. I think the essays at the end of each chapter do a good job of reinforcing the chapter and in some cases giving a 'where we are now' view.
