I did have to remove the black rubber screen on the bud so that the volume would match my original left one. I couldn't clean it without damaging it so i just took it all out. The bud isn't new so this wasn't a surprise, i would not call it "like new" (seller notes) or "excellent" (title) or "is new condition" (about this item). However the price is fair; would buy again.

Double check the model of your airpod as even though they're the same generation they might be different models. The seller was very helpful and polite. They answered and accommodated very quickly. Moreover if they shipped it out quickly. If I ever lose parts of my equipment (cross my fingers, knock on wood), this is the seller I'm coming back to. Can't recommend the seller enough. Buy with confidence!
