The maximum print speed is up to 7 ppm; it can handle up to seven black-and-white prints per minute or up to four color prints per minute. The 60-page paper input tray capacity means fewer refills, and the simple features and accessories available for these printers make them easy to use right out of the box. This unit will make quick work of all of your home printing needs.The HP 1010 inkjet device is designed to save energy, which may help lower your monthly energy consumption and reduce your environmental footprint. The accessories for the HP Deskjet 1010 Standard Inkjet are certified by ENERGY STAR, which means that every time you use the device, it is preventing greenhouse gas emissions and meeting the efficiency guidelines set by the U.S Department of Energy and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. It has an input voltage of 120V AC and 230 V AC, so it's very power-savvy. It connects to your computer via the USB 2.0 cable. It only takes 10 watts of power to run this accessory, and it has a 1,000-page per month capacity. There's an off-mode power consumption of just 200mW and a Sleep-Mode power consumption of just 800.With this type of HP Deskjet 1010 Standard Inkjet Printer model, you can print on all kinds of media, including brochures, photos, labels, envelopes, and greeting cards. Combining high-quality ink with this printer's technology will result in darker blacks and vibrant colors. The output tray has a capacity of up to 25 sheets. It can print on many different types of paper such as photo paper and 8.5-inch by 11-inch letter size, 8.5-inch by 14-inch legal size, and postcards. It can also print No. 10 envelopes in the 10-4.13 by 9.49-inch size as well as DL envelopes that measure 4.33 by 8.66 inches. The print capacity of the ink cartridges for this HP Deskjet Ink Printer are approximately 190 pages with an HP 61 black ink cartridge and about 165 pages with an HP 61 tri-color ink cartridge. It is 17-second monochrome ready and 24-second color ready, which means less wait time during print jobs.This printer is compatible with PC and Mac computers. It can operate with PCs running Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8. It also works with Apple Mac computers running the OS X 10.6, Lion, or Mountain Lion operating systems. Your Windows or Mac software should be able to detect the printer and install the necessary drivers. You can also manually install the driver if the software doesn't automatically locate the Deskjet 1010, and driver updates are available for download on a regular basis.     This item wasn’t able to be delivered because the delivery service accidentally destroyed the package, but the seller’s response was top notch, and was able to issue a full refund right away since this was a hard to find item without a ready replacement.
