On opening the protective shipping box there was layers of newspaper and foam sheet padding (giving me flashbacks to my childhood days playing pass the parcel). The model box itself was in excellent condition, just as described, still in its original shrink wrap. The price for this rare gem was excellent, and I hope to deal with Gumboot again. I agreed with that idea, though I didn't know how to send it back because I've never done that before, so he nicely explained to me how to do that, and I was able to send it back and get my refund
