The mallets and handles are an even lighter wood than pine. The plastic caps came off all of them, 1st use. Just, the cheapest of cheap. Don't waste your money.

After a few days, the pump quit working, but once the seller was contacted, he went overboard to make things right. I was able to get the pump working again, but the seller declined to let me return the refund. This seller is truly concerned about the customer, and I would buy from them again, without hesitation.
