The packaging was a mess, but the transistors themselves seem fine. Since the shipment was presumed lost, I received a refund several weeks ago, so it feels odd to get them. They are useful to me as I will likely encounter another project that will need them. I do feel I need to make this right with the seller, though, since they shipped it in good faith. The USPS just messed up.

Something went wrong with the address to the post office so they sent it back to the seller. When I discovered this I brought it to the attention of the seller via ebay and they promptly refunded when they received the part back. I didn't want to try to get the part shipped again. I gave this a positive due to the seller refunding and I can't really say they are at fault for the failure of the transaction. I would think they should be OK to buy frmHA11738 "Original" Hitachi 28P DIP IC 1 pc (N° 292745604989)
