Product Information

PASSION is a powerful, bold Sondheim musical centered around a love triangle between a young soldier and two women; one beautiful and married, the other sickly and destitute. Giorgio, a handsome young soldier, is in love with a stunningly beautiful married woman, Clara. Upon his separation for her, Giorgio meets the ailing, repulsive Fosca, who falls madly in love with him. Giorgio becomes oddly drawn to the depths of her emotion for him, though he is disgusted by her appearance, and continues to observe her as she becomes sicker and sicker.
