In addition to delivering the sound you want, these GigaWorks T40 speakers look good, too. The Creative Gigaworks T40 main stereo speakers have an elegant design, and they provide you with unique audio experiences. These speakers feature a three-driver audiophile configuration, which enhances the spectral balance for whichever type of songs you are playing. Each satellite speaker features an expressive tweeter and a high-performance mid-range driver to recreate a realistic live musical experience for your home theater or music studio. That means you do not need to set up a separate subwoofer because the speakers contain three-driver, MTM, or midrange-tweeter-midrange speaker set up along with BasXPort technology. With this configuration, you end up with a sound that is a pleasing mix of tones and deep bass reverberating vibrations. Due to the glass fiber construction, you get extra durability from this pair of speakers. Unlike wood speaker bodies, a fiberglass body stands up to heat and cold as well as a bit of dampness in the air without damage to the unit. BasXPort acoustic engineering enhances the low frequency range by radiating sound wave outward, giving you a rich, mellow sound quality. These speakers have an efficient design and plenty of juice, with an 80 dB signal-to-noise ratio and 32 watts of power. The wide 50 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response range means the T40s will deliver all the little aspects of your music that lesser speakers might miss. The Creative GigaworksT40 stereo speakers are geared toward music, games, and movies. Thanks to a cloth dome tweeter, you get crisp sounds for audio and video. You also have access to many controls, such as volume, treble, and bass. This gives you the chance to customize the speakers’ settings, whether it’s for DVDs or games. When you want to listen to your music privately, all you need to do is Plug your headphones into the port on the speaker body. The Creative T40 stereo speakers are powered by a supply adapter and are designed to save energy. When audio isn’t being played, the speakers will automatically go into a power saving standby mode after approximately 10 minutes. The speakers will intelligently wake themselves from standby as soon as they detect audio playback. This device measures in at a depth of 3.46 inches, a width of 5.63 inches, and a height of 12.32 inches. The Creative Labs Gigaworks T40 stereo speakers features additional accessories to enhance listening pleasure.
