Featuring a variety of plot threads, players may follow the quest provided from the film or create their own super hero story. Using the stylus and the touch screen, gamers will navigate Spidey through a 3D side-scrolling New York City as they look for crime and enjoy the scenery.<br><br>Players once again don the red and black masks of Spider-Man and must face archenemies including the Green Goblin and Sandman. Throughout the game gamers have the chance to stop crime by heading toward the highlighted areas found on the city map. Foiling the plans of bad guys can keep the public happy and provide players with lots of fans. Ignoring the pleas of the people has the opposite affect. <br><br>Unlike the Wii version of the game, Spider-Man may access the black suit only when he is angered, and can use it to jump farther, move faster, and throw a more powerful punch. The DS version of the game includes several multiplayer games including Brawler, Hot Potato, Combo Challenge, and Target Practice.
