After replacing the original PLA with this one, my C64 went from a blank, black screen to having the blue border and background with no text or cursor. Replaced the BASIC ROM, and it seems functional again. The diagnostics cartridge still says the PLA is bad, but I think my C64 has yet another issue that is being miss diagnosed. My passed experience with this seller has been excellent, so I'm assuming this PLA is good and will continue to look for other issues.Risposta di: anyretro- Feedback con risposta del venditore anyretro.- Feedback con risposta del venditore anyretro.Please ensure switch 1 is in the down position, this will fix the PLA BAD miss-diagnosis when testing with a Versa64 card, same is required for the 1541 test to function correctly. DIP ICs came pre-inserted into the sockets, so that’s handy if you want that, a bit of a pain if you don’t. Came packaged with the microchips and sockets inserted into a square of what I believe is polyethylene foam and held down with clear packing tape, and that assembly sealed in an anti-static bag.

Shipping made a weird route from Detroit to Chicago then to Toronto and final destination in Montreal :)
