This was the solution I found. Works perfectly. We hooked up antenna and scanned for the available free tv channels. My other tv's have the coaxial antenna hookup. This tv didn't. Problem solved.

Apparently it is the newer technology these days. Previous tuners: Older Sony, older Samsung Smart, original HD Homerun, NA tuner. I got 60 channels with a long cable run on the Sony & this item BUT this item was way, way better. All 4 of the major networks came in clearly. I have never had such success. I am happy!
